Regina Johnson currently serves as Bylaws Committee Chair of Texas Business Women and has been a member since 1977.  She has served as a Local Organization President, District Director and in many other Local Organization, District/Regional and State committee chairs and offices.  Regina is a former Texas Young Careerist, representing Texas at the 1978 BPW/USA National Convention.

Nina Barr, Treasurer

Nina is committed to helping strengthen and develop women in her community and around Texas through her actions, and has the ability and background knowledge to assist the Texas BPW Foundation with their financial needs. 

Following a number of years in public accounting and private business, Nina started her own CPA practice working with individuals preparing tax returns and helping small businesses with their accounting and financial needs.

Vicki Ratliff,Trustee

Vicki Ratliff is a member of Dallas Metro North Texas Business Women (TBW).  She has been a member of TBW for over 18 years serving as LO President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer as well as multiple committee positions.

Vicki has been an attorney practicing in the state of Texas for 25 years.  She currently works from home making house calls on her Will and probate clients using her slogan of “Wills on Wheels.” 

Vicki is married to Richard and they have two wonderful children.  Her son, Alex, is a sophomore at the University of Nebraska and her daughter, Lindsay, is a senior in high school.

Kendra Kennison, Texas Business Women, Inc. President

Serving as TBW's President, Kendra Kinnison, MBA, CPA, is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive. She's currently the Director of Finance for Port Royal Ocean Resort in Corpus Christi, Texas, and holds ownership interests in companies in the publishing and alternative energy industries.

Kendra has been a member of TBW - Corpus Christi since 1996 and has served as local organization President and Region Director twice, as well as State Treasurer and President-Elect. She was instrumental in moving the organization to a virtual infrastructure and led several training and development efforts.

Having served in leadership positions in a number of community organizations, Kendra was an inaugural selection to Corpus Christi's Top 40 Under 40 in 1996, was a Y Women in Careers Honoree in 2005, and received the Young Entrepreneur Award from the SBA in 2006.

Holding an MBA and BBA (in accounting) from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, Kinnison is the youngest MBA graduate in the school’s history. She is also a graduate of Leadership Corpus Christi Class XXX and was the Steering Committee Chair for Class XXXV.

Pat Hadaway is co-owner of ALL POINTS PRESERVATION, INC., a Property Preservation Company servicing the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.  Established in late 2004, ALL POINTS PRESERVATION, INC. has grown from one a ‘one crew/one trailer’ company into a ‘four crew/four trailer’ reputable and reliable company today.   

Pat has been interested in business since beginning her career.  Her early interest in business came from entrepreneurial parents, but credits her business experience/savvy from a successful Entrepreneur who willingly offered an opportunity for learning and growth in the ‘real’ business world.  During her association, she has participated in Buy-Outs, Start-Up companies, served on multiple Boards and has provides Accounting and Management leadership.

Pat Bell, Trustee

Pat has been a member of Austin Capital City TBW since October of 2002 and has held several leadership roles such as Local Organization President, Region Two Director for two terms, State Director at Large, and State Recording Secretary.

She has also served on national committees including the BPW Transition Task Force and National Individual Development Committee. A public speaking enthusiast, Pat represented the State of Texas and won the National Business & Professional Women (BPW) Individual Development Speech Contest in 2008 at national convention. A past Toastmaster member, she won local and area Inspirational Speech Contest and Achieved the Competent Toastmaster Member (CTM) designation.

Gwen retired after 27 years as an in-house accountant for an independent oil operator in the Dallas Metro area.

She has been a member of BPW/TBW since 1962, and served as State President in 1981-82.

Gwen received her parliamentary training under the guidance of Lena Hardcastle, Registered Parliamentarian. She has served as Parliamentarian for local organizations, District, and Region.

Laura Whisenhunt, Trustee

Laura Whisenhunt is President of San Angelo Federal Credit Union (SAFCU). She started working at SAFCU as a part-time teller in 1997 while attending Angelo State University (ASU). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from ASU in 1999.

She joined Business and Professional Women’s Club of San Angelo in 2000. She has chaired several different committees, served as Secretary, Vice President, and President for two years for her local organization.

She became a Board member for the Texas Business & Professional Women’s Foundation in 2009. The honor to serve the membership on this level is very humbling.

Laura is married to Michael Whisenhunt, retired MSgt from the Air Force and currently employed as a civilian Fire Instructor with Goodfellow AFB. They have four children, and four grandchildren.

As the credit union philosophy is “People helping People”, TBW’s philosophy is “Women helping Women”…she loves that she can work & volunteer under the same motto!
