In addition to choosing the type of bequest, donors can direct how it will be used. As examples, the donor may:
Make an unrestricted gift – in this case the proceeds will go into the General Fund and used to build the permanent funding source for the Texas Business and Professional Women’s Foundation, Inc.
Make a restricted gift – restricted funds will be used to support a specific area of interest, such as for research, scholarships or education. Donations made to the following funds will support each fund’s respective purpose: the Chloe Monroe MDA Fund, the Hermine D. Tobolowsky Scholarship Fund, the Gilda Murray Scholarship Fund, the Minnie L. Maffet Scholarship Fund.
Set up a named endowment fund, such as The Family Fund for Leadership.
Memorialize or honor a loved one. As an example, you may wish to specify that the gift is made in loving memory of a designated individual or a previous supporter of Texas Business and Professional Women’s Foundation, Inc.
