Glenda Raichlen – Treasurer

Glenda experienced a long and fulfilling career, starting as a high school teacher in San Antonio and then in Madrid, Spain. She entered the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant in 1981 and served for over 27 years, retiring as a Colonel. She received the Legion of Merit twice for her leadership and contributions, including leading the top Recruiting Group and overseeing software development for military efforts in the Middle East. Beyond her military service, she has actively participated in various professional organizations since 1995, holding multiple leadership roles and reviving struggling groups, earning recognition as Woman of the Year from two organizations. For the past several years, she has volunteered as a tax preparer with AARP and organized  community service projects and local charity walks, inspiring others to give back.
Now retired from the Air Force, I teach senior citizens technology, continue working with AARP Tax-Aide as a counselor and at the state level as Admin. I like to travel and walk different Caminos from Europe to South America.
