Lois Henderson – Trustee

Lois graduated from the University of Mary Washington from Fredericksburg, Virginia in Liberal Studies in 1992, retired from Mckesson Hospital Laboratory Sales Division after 24 years, appointed to the Lower Neches Valley Authority Board of Directors representing Tyler County by then Governor George W. Bush in 1998 serving 8 years, in 2017 established Henderson Design, Interior Design Company for home and office and in 2020 established Long Horn Cabin through Airbnb. I have been a member of TBW since 2008 serving 4 terms as president of the Tyler County TBW. Presently I serve as vice president of the Tyler County Republican Women and Tyler County TBW. I have been married for 41 years to David Henderson, retired Marine Corp officer and retired Assistant U.S. Attorney Eastern District of Texas. We have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

The Texas Business and Professional Women’s Foundation, Inc. provides advocacy and support for educational, literary, scientific and charitable activities.

Providing financial support for Texas women who wish to further their knowledge, skills, studies or service in designated areas or toward medical research is a primary mission.
