Silvia Pendleton, Trustee

Silvia has worked as manager, business owner, entrepreneur, volunteer leader, board member, meeting planner, job placement counselor, community coordinator, association executive, and several other titles during my career. Currently, she is the Executive Director for the Austin Contractors & amp; Engineers Association, and previously worked for the Texas Self Storage Association as Director of Operations, Marketing & Membership. Additionally, she worked with The National Center for Victims of Crime in New York and Washington, D.C. for several years.

Her TBW experience includes serving as President of Texas Business Women from 2010-2011 and an active member of the Austin Local Organization. She’s received recognition for activities in the organization including the 2002 Outstanding Region Director, and the 2008 Woman of the Year award.

Professionally, she was recognized in 2002 Who’s Who in Association Management, and achieved the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 2014.

The Texas Business and Professional Women’s Foundation, Inc. provides advocacy and support for educational, literary, scientific and charitable activities.

Providing financial support for Texas women who wish to further their knowledge, skills, studies or service in designated areas or toward medical research is a primary mission.
